Relation to the 7 Elements

Geography: He changed geography because he believed on heliocentrism instead of geocentrism. He changed the opinion of where the earth was and how all the planets rotated around it.

Knowledge: He changed knowledge by telling people about heliocentrism. People realised he was right later on, and now everyone believes in heliocentrism.

Time: It took Galileo time to build the telescope and figure out the earths rotation and how it revolves. So in the beginning of time, people believed the wrong thing.

Beliefs: Galileo was Catholic even though he opposed the catholic church. He went against his own religion because he believed he was right.

Society: Galileo contributed to society because he helped the society by telling them his discoveries and how it changes the society for the better.

Values: Galileo valued many scientific ideas and theories. For example, he valued Astronomy and the Heliocentric theory (the earth rotates around the sun)

Economy: Galileo's theories affected the economy because, once he found out the earth rotated around the sun, it affected the churches economy because they then were questioned, and less people supported the church, which decreased the donations to the church.

Some Quotes From Galileo

"All truths are easy to understand once they are discovered; the point is to discover them."

"The bible shows the way to go to heaven, not the way the heavens go."

"We cannot teach a people anything; we can only help them discover it within themselves."

Vincenzio, was his youngest child. He was borned in 1606. No further information...

Ptomely >>The Earth is in the centre of the universe

That the planets travelled in an elliptical orbit, not a circle<<Kepler

Copernicus>> The Earth moves around the Sun

Galileo
believed Copernicus' theory, but prooved
it to the church by using his telescope

Death...

Galileo died on January 8, 1642, at age 77. He suffered from fever and heart palpitations. The Grand Duke of Tuscany, wished to bury him in the main body of the Basilica of Santa Croce, next to the tombs of his father and other ancestors. Their plans wasn't easy to do however after Pope Urban VIII and his nephew, Cardinal Francesco Barberini, protested. They protested of Galileo's suspension of heresy. Instead Galileo was burried small room next to the novices' chapel at the end of a corridor from the southern transept of the basilica to the sacristy. Telescope

The astromeners before Galileo taught the world by teaching them that the Earth is in the centre of the universe. Galileo created a telescope to study the objects in the sky. He created his first telescope with different kind of lenses. His third time of making a telescope he made it so you can see it 1000 times larger and over 30 times closer. Galileo is more intrested in the sky then on the earth.

Galileo Galilei

Galileo Galilei was born February 15'th, 1564. He was born in Florence, Italy and was fully italian. He studied astronomy, physics and mathematics, and he was mostly known for the improvement of the telescope. He played a major role in the Science Revolution. His is also now known as "father of modern science." He discovered many planets and satelites (moons). He discovered four of jupiters moons, which they named the "Galilean Moons" in his honour of finding them.
In 1610, Galileo decided to support the "heliocentric" theory, which stated the earth actually rotates around the sun instead of the sun rotated around the earth. Since he supported this theory, he was accused of heresy, which is when you oppose the church's beliefs. In 1616 February, the chuch condemned heliocentrism has a false statement, and Galileo was warned that he should not support it which he decided to do. But when he published "Dialogue Concerning the Two Chiefs World Systems" which is a book that states the earth rotates around the sun. This book created suspicion that he opposed the churches beliefs. He was then again charged of heresy, and spent the rest of his life under house arrest.
